Programs

Battering Intervention Prevention Program (BIPP)

A 27-week court ordered program for men who have abused a female partner. This program is facilitated by 2 instructors, a man and a woman, who have received extensive training in the field of intimate partner violence. The program seeks to change the habits, behaviors, and thinking errors that abusive men have learned throughout their lives. Participants are required to complete an intake and pay fees. Please contact the TASA office for more details.

Domestic Violence High Risk Team (DVHRT)

TASA also operates a Domestic Violence High Risk Team in conjunction with local law enforcement and the 46th Judicial District Attorney’s Office. The DVHRT reviews high risk cases of family violence and works to craft individual plans that will keep victims safe. Our DVHRT program is one of only a dozen funded in the State of Texas.
